August already and crap is it hot, we are waiting for word from CANTV to see if we have the Tuesday 8:00pm spot in October. If we do then our TV show starts back up on the first Tuesday in October….Stay tuned…In 4 day’s we will be leaving for the Fulton County Rodeo and have a good size crew going down just like last year, we can’t wait to get there and then the next event will be Chiggerfest. Both good rides and a lot of back roads to travel. Illinois is filled with great riding thru the state, you just got to find them ….but when you do, man what a great ride. Scraps just called and is thinking of planning a trip and we are going to call it “THE BIG ETHYL RUN” that’s where we go on down and visit the Brothers of Grundy Chapter and then stop for the BIG ETHYL BURGER!!!! Think you can eat it??? Yeah right, I tried and got everything but the bun down. Then they made me drive home, I wanted to pass out. Just got back from the Fulton County Chapters Rodeo and had a great time, those guy’s are great hosts and Jennifer really went out of her way to make sure we were bedded and feed. The ride on Saturday was scenic and we went thru some really great back roads, like I said last time we have a lot of great roads right here in Illinois. We took the high mile award and will be bringing it to the chapter meeting and then into the awards case it goes. We have received a lot of awards since in the last 21 years and one day will have a place to display them. If anyone would like to see them, maybe we can bring them out for everyone to see…..Hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe at the membership party. More later as we are getting ready to do the LSD run and then the TV show will be starting up in October. More later…
